These maps can be zoomed in or out and printed, and is useful for genealogists, local historians, planners, and anyone wanting to learn more about the history, growth and development of our towns and cities. Instructions: Click on the database above. If you are in the library, no password is needed, but remote access will require the Login ID as NARL and the password as welcome.

Mango’s online language learning system focuses on teaching actual conversation skills for a wide variety of languages. Each lesson combines real-life situations and audio from native speakers with an easy-to-follow interface and simple, clear instructions. Mango Languages currently offers 12 language courses — Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, French, German, Italian, Greek, Russian, Mandarin Chinese, ESL for Polish speakers, ESL for Spanish speakers, and ESL for Brazilian Portuguese speakers — with many more on the way. To use, click on the Mango icon. The first time you use it, enter your Randolph County library card number, your email address and a password that you choose then click "Sign Up". The next time you use Mango, simply log-in with your information and your learning progress will be saved.
